Where does espresso coffee come from?
A coffee bean is a seed of the Coffea plant and the source for coffee. It is the pit inside the red or purple fruit often referred to as a cherry.
There are two types of commercially grown coffee; Arabica beans and Robusta beans. Arabica beans make up about 60% of the total world coffee consumption. Roasts that are made from Arabica beans are considered to be higher quality and are often more expensive than Robusta beans because they take longer to reach maturity.

There are lots of different interesting ways you can make use of your coffee waste, here’s to mention a few:
Compost
The nitrogen in coffee grounds makes them a great plant fertilizer. By adding this organic material it improves drainage, water retention and aeration in the soil. You can either mix the grounds directly into the soil or add them to your compost to enrich the substance.
Deodorizer for your fridge
Coffee grounds can absorb the nasty odors in your fridge. Nitrogen reacts with sulfur in the air to pull it out and trap it in the grounds.
Exfoliant
The sand like texture of coffee grounds make them a good natural exfoliant. scrubbing agent. Simply rub the grounds directly on your skin to help scrub away dead skin cells and clean out clogged pores.
